Our recreation season has now come to a close.  It was a great season and all the wrestlers and their parents should be proud.  Our first year wreslters did a great job learning the skills needed to compete in the most difficult sport they will ever participate in.  It takes tremendous courage to walk out on the mat alone and our first year kids never hesitated.  We had a very successful tournament season as well.  WTW had 28 medalists at the Districts and 8 medalists in the League Championships. We also participated in a very competitive duals league and many of our wrestlers medalled in the dual league championships.  Good luck to those wrestlers who have qualified for the State Championships.

All in all it was a great year and WTW would like to thank all the wrestlers, coaches, and parents for their efforts in making our season a success.  We look forward to seeing all the kids in the offseason and we will keep you informed of any summer programs should you be interested.

We would also like to wish Matthew McKay and Vincent Totaro best wishes and good luck as they leave the WTW program and move on to the next chapter in their academic and wrestling life; high school.  Both boys have accomplished a great deal within the sport and have represented the program well.
